Great Plains Conservation Making Use of Technology
Though out in the wild, Great Plains Conservation has found a way to benefit from technology. Zarafa, Selinda and Duba Plains camps all have biogas units installed, virtually eliminating the use of LPG gas, as well as a bio box, which converts waste water into usable water for vegetable gardens. New to Zarafa Camp’s tents, evening breeze air-conditioning units have been installed for guest comfort during the warmer months. These units are super silent systems that are designed to cool the bed area only, utilizing ozone-friendly refrigerants and running entirely off solar power.
