In the Know In the Know: Botswana Tourism Launches Travel Advisor Selection Tool on BTO Website

Last fall, Botswana Tourism began the process of developing a new, dynamic Botswana lead generation tool for the Botswana Tourism regional website. This tool is designed to help travel agents and travelers find their best Botswana Travel Advisor match(es) based upon the search criteria they enter.

Located on Botswana Tourism’s regional website for North American travelers, www.botswanatourism.us, users can easily search for knowledgeable Botswana specialist Tour Operators by name, if known, or by inputting traveler preferences and budget criteria. Users have several options after finding their best company matches: share search result with friends or family, view company profiles online, and/or request a company contact – all without leaving the Botswana Tourism website.

Botswana Tourism is running an online campaign through April to market this new tool and drive users to the search tool landing page. To try it out, go to: www.botswanatourism.us/touroperator/search.

Just In: Best of Botswana Riding Adventure June 9-18

Two of Africa’s favorite horseback safaris are joining forces to offer a ten-day safari alongside big game that combines the highlights of two dramatically different – but equally spectacular – areas of Botswana into one unforgettable adventure. Guests joining the Best of Botswana trip – which will run the 9-18th of June – will ride most of the popular Tuli Trail run by Limpopo Horse Safaris and enjoy a stay with African Horseback Safaris in the Okavango Delta.

During the ten days in the saddle, your clients will cover over 100 miles through jaw-dropping scenery, riding alongside the abundant game and birdlife. Days can be long, up to seven hours, but the rewards are priceless: hot showers, delicious meals served around blazing log fires in exquisite surroundings, cozy duvets and comfortable beds.

Ten days can occasionally be too much even for the most enthusiastic rider. African Horseback Safaris has designed other distractions to make this an even more unforgettable holiday. Game drives, boat safaris and fishing expeditions, where your clients will have to be quicker than the kingfishers to land their bream, can also be arranged to ensure that even the most saddle sore can still make the most of this annual miracle of nature.
