Camp Updates

Footsteps in Africa Camp Closures
Footsteps in Africa recently announced the – hopefully temporary – closure of two camps in their camp circuit: Santawani Lodge and Sankuyo Bush Camp. Botswana Tourism is taking a proactive role in helping all parties resolve the issues necessitating these closures. The collective goal is for quick resolution to enable the camps to reopen in time for the approaching dry season.

SAA News

• SAA has recently announced non-stop service both ways between New York and Johannesburg set to launch on May 1, 2011. For more information click here
• SAA has announced special fares from New York or Washington to Johannesburg and other points beyond in Africa in April and May, 2011. For more information click here
• SAA and JetBlue Airways have announced an expansion of their successful interline partnership that was launched in mid-2010, with new code share flights being offered between the two airlines, effective March 3, 2011.
